Central Florida Flight Training is a locally owned and operated flight school based at Zephyrhills Airport (KZPH). We’re run by aviation professionals — including a master aviation mechanic — with a focus on safety, reliability, and practical training.
We provide year-round flight training by appointment, giving you the flexibility to train on your schedule.

Experience & Qualifications
• 20+ years of aviation experience
• Certified instructors (CFI, CFII, MEI, AGI, IGI)
• Gold Seal Instructor on staff
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) mechanic on staff
• All aircraft maintenance completed by certificated professionals
About the owner of Central Florida Flight Training
Erik Meredith is the Chief Flight Instructor and owner of Central Florida Flight Training, bringing over 22 years of aviation leadership and hands-on flight experience to every student he works with. With a background as a Part 135 captain, chief pilot, and safety program coordinator, Erik has built his career around operational excellence, risk mitigation, and FAA-compliant training.
He also served as an adjunct professor of aeronautical science, reinforcing his passion for teaching and developing the next generation of pilots.
Erik combines real-world aviation experience with a strong foundation in business and team leadership, creating a training environment focused on safety, precision, and long-term pilot success.
